Profile-Purchase & Logistics Executive

Qualification:

Job Responsibilities:

• Purchase

  electrical components, equipment, and materials

  for commercial SITC projects (Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning).
• Prepare, issue, and manage

  Purchase Orders (POs)

  and ensure timely approval and release.
• Track deliveries, follow up with suppliers, and ensure on-time availability of materials at project sites.
• Coordinate

  logistics and transportation

  for electrical equipment and materials.
• Maintain and enhance relationships with

  local electrical equipment suppliers

  and OEM vendors.
• Negotiate

  pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules

  , and contract terms with vendors.
• Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for items such as

  cables, switchgear, lighting fixtures, control panels

  , and other essential electrical components.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, vendor details, and delivery status.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Understanding of

  electrical materials, switchgear, cables, lighting, and control panels

  .
• Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and logistics coordination.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work with project teams to forecast material requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and ERP/software tools (preferred).

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Prior experience in procurement and logistics for

  electrical or construction projects

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong relationship-building and vendor-handling skills.
