Supply Chain Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies to support the manufacturing plants production goals.
• Manage procurement activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, contract management, and purchase order processing.
• Oversee inventory management and warehouse operations to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and prevent production stoppages.
• Coordinate inbound logistics to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to align supply chain operations with production schedules.
• Lead supplier relationship management, monitor vendor performance, and implement supplier development initiatives.
• Analyse supply chain performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and sustainability practices within the supply chain.
• Prepare and present reports on supply chain status, risks, and improvements to senior management.
• Manage and develop the supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CIPS) is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in automotive, EV, or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and vendor management.
• Experience in managing ERP/MRP systems and supply chain software.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
