Supply Chain Manager

Role Overview: As a Category Buyer at HYOS-L&T Energy Hydrocarbon - OnshoreKnowledge City Vadodara, your primary responsibility will be to execute Category Strategies by completing the purchasing process and ensuring contract closures with accurate documentation. You will work across functions to ensure the comprehensiveness of MR/MTO/SR, support Lead Buyers/Category Managers in developing frame agreements and rate contracts, recommend relevant supplier development activities, record and address supplier grievances, and manage negotiations with suppliers. Your role will involve managing internal/external/cross-functional communication between SCM, QA/QC, PMT, Engineering, Vendors, etc. Key Responsibilities: - Follow and execute the category strategy for sourcing items and develop RFQs - Execute orders as per agreed rate agreements and manage emergency procurement - Prepare Commercial Bid Evaluation (CBE), Note for Approval (NFA), Procurement Change Note (PCN), and other commercial documents - Timely placement of purchase orders/work orders/amendments as per project schedule and ensure release to suppliers - Procurement of valves Qualification Required: - Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (BTECH) Additional Details: You will need to demonstrate key competencies such as commercial acumen, effective communication, time & priority management, and flawless execution. It is essential to have category expertise, compliance, risk & ethics awareness, negotiation skills, contracting experience, and relationship management skills. Experience in procurement of line pipes for oil and gas owner/EPC companies would be a nice-to-have.,
