Key Requirements and Skills:

• Education:

A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, logistics, or a related field is generally required.

• Experience:

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management is crucial.

• Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical skills are needed to evaluate data, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels.

• Negotiation Skills:

The ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers is essential for cost control and procurement.

• Communication Skills:

Excellent oral and written communication skills are needed for interacting with various stakeholders.

• Inventory Management:

Knowledge of inventory control strategies, forecasting methodologies, and inventory management software is vital.

• Software Proficiency:

Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and inventory management software is expected.

• Problem-Solving:

The ability to identify and resolve issues related to inventory, supply, and procurement is important.

• Teamwork:

The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams is often a requirement.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Purchasing: Managing the purchasing process, including sourcing, negotiating, and placing orders.
• Inventory Management: Ensuring optimal stock levels, tracking inventory, and managing warehouse operations.
• Supply Chain: Coordinating with suppliers, logistics providers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth material flow.
• Data Analysis: Analyzing data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize inventory.
• Cost Optimization: Implementing strategies to reduce costs associated with procurement and inventory management.
• Vendor Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
