Digital Employee Engagement Supervisor


What will my immediate accountabilities be?

Global Digital Employee Engagement Content Creation:

  • Support the Global Digital Employee Engagement Content Strategy by collaborating with cross-functional teams to support employee engagement initiatives, including employee recognition programs, wellness programs, and diversity and inclusion efforts
  • Design and produce engaging multimedia Global Employee Engagement Content, including videos, images, and written communications that promote a sense of community and reinforce the company's values and culture


Market Steady State Relationship Management:

  • Support with the day to day relationships for markets that have transitioned to the new app, supporting their strategy, along with best practice on how to increase adoption, engagement and employee’s sentiment
  • Work alongside Global and Market Insight Teams on market’s KPIs along with top tips on how to increase such metrics


Feedback and Continuous Improvement:

  • Establish mechanisms to gather feedback from markets on the app’s performance and user experience.
  • Analyze feedback and usage data to identify areas for improvement and work with the vendor and technology team to implement necessary updates.
  • Monitor the ongoing impact of the app on employee engagement and operational efficiency, adjusting strategies as needed.


Global Change Management Strategy:

  • Support the change management strategy for new markets transitioning to McD Connect app, which can be tailored by each country’s specific needs, driving smooth adoption.
  • Work closely with market teams to offer recommendations on how they can customize the global change management strategy and materials to launch the tool successfully in their market, respecting local languages, cultures, and operational practices.


Training and Onboarding:

  • Support the creation and delivery of training programs to our market leads, ensuring they are well-prepared to utilize the new app.
  • Ensure continuous support post-launch, providing troubleshooting assistance and additional training as needed.
  • Enhance global training materials for different audiences, that can be localised, to ensure that market restaurant teams are fully equipped to use the new app effectively.


What Team will I be a part?

You will be part of the Digital Employee Engagement team within GBS.


Who are my customers?

You will collaborate closely with Global People, Technology and Impact colleagues based globally and in market, alongside Global and Market Legal, Operations, Insights and Marketing.

What background do I need to have?

What You Need To Succeed (minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, communications, marketing, or a related field
  • 4-8 years of experience in digital employee engagement or a related field
  • Excellent leadership skills, ideally having worked in a large global team in a matrixed environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to produce engaging content for a variety of platforms
  • Experience deploying employee-facing SaaS solutions (Workday, Workplace SuccessFactors, Cornerstone, Qualtrics, etc.)
  • Excellent project management skills and experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines, using both agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Ability to develop project schedules, communicate deadlines, ensure project deadlines are met and creatively solve issues
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to analyze and interpret information and data
  • Strong organizational skill with the ability to balance conflicting priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Global and cultural sensitivity with the ability to work with stakeholders from all over the globe and tailor communications style as needed
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles


What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (preferred Qualifications):

  • Master's Degree in related field
  • Experience working with McDonald’s restaurant teams and franchisees
