Role Overview

This is a P&L-impacting leadership role at the heart of Ambak’s growth engine. You will own and drive strategic alliances across builder groups, proptech players, co-lending partners, real estate developers, D2C brands, and other ecosystem enablers. This role demands deep market understanding, structured problem solving, and a sharp eye for scalable revenue unlocks.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

  • Strategic Deal Making:

    Identify, evaluate, and close high-impact alliances with developers, fintechs, proptechs, and other ecosystem partners.
  • Revenue Ownership:

    Drive monthly disbursal impact via partnerships; monitor partner funnel metrics and deliver end-to-end revenue conversion.
  • P&L Accountability:

    Track CAC, contribution margin, and cost per lead across alliances – own optimization levers.
  • Partner Activation:

    Lead go-live for partners – onboarding flows, incentive structures, sales enablement, and post-launch ops.
  • Cross-Functional Execution:

    Work with Product, Ops, Credit, Fulfillment, and Tech to ensure partner journeys are seamless and tech-integrated.
  • New Initiatives:

    Launch and scale category-first strategic programs (e.g. housing society tie-ups, co-branded loan offerings, embedded finance pilots).
  • Governance & Reporting:

    Build robust trackers, partner scorecards, MIS dashboards; maintain relationship health and compliance.
  • Market Intelligence:

    Track competitive moves, alliance plays, and pricing trends.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Monthly Disbursal via Partnerships
  • No. of Active Partnerships Signed and Activated
  • Lead to Login Conversion % and Login to Disbursal %
  • Partner-wise Cost per Disbursal (CPD) and ROI
  • TAT for Partner Onboarding and Fulfillment
  • Percentage Growth in Contribution Margin from Alliances


What We’re Looking For

  • 4–8 years of experience in Strategic Alliances, Business Development, Fintech Partnerships, or Developer Relationships in BFSI / Housing Finance / Lending ecosystem / Large Corporates / Insure-Tech Orgs / Wealth Advisory Companies / HRMS Orgs etc.
  • Strong operator with a builder’s mindset – you’ve launched things, not just managed them
  • Track record of negotiating deals, managing partner P&Ls, and driving revenue through ecosystem-led models
  • Comfort working in high-ambiguity, high-growth setups with sharp targets
  • Strong analytical skills – you back every bet with a metric
