What You’ll Be Doing

As a Staff Software Engineer in Betterworks, you will be required to:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions with a focus on development, using JavaScript/TypeScript/Python.
• Collaborate with AI-based teams to integrate GenAI models and develop ML-Ops infrastructure.
• Drive technical excellence, ensuring high-quality code, robust architecture, and scalable solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Work closely with product management to define technical requirements and translate them into actionable development plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across various systems.

What’ll Help You Be Successful

• 7-8 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on JavaScript/TypeScript/Python.
• Team leading capabilities, strong communication and building confidence with all stakeholders with an aptitude for continuous learning.
• Proven background working with AI-based teams and ML-Ops technologies, including experience with Generative AI.
• Deep understanding of software engg principles, DS, AI-ML technologies.
• Extensive experience with REST APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., VueJS, React, Angular) for full-stack development roles.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects.
