Role Overview

As the director/senior director of marketing managing our website (Algoworks.com), you will play a pivotal role in leading the ongoing development, security and stability for our website, including managing SEO, website analytics and reporting. This position requires a blend of website operations experience, business acumen and technical expertise to ensure our site performs well as both our external face to the market and as a lead generation engine. You will be responsible for managing a team of developers and SEO specialists, automating business processes, integrating advanced AI-driven functionalities and developing robust and actionable reporting and analytics. With a focus on maximizing ROI and operational efficiency, you will lead website development and SEO, drive continuous improvement, and implement industry best practices. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in website management who is eager to play a key role in driving business growth.

Responsibilities:

· Team and website strategy management

o Establish a website strategy that will enhance the site’s visibility and rankings, increase leads generated and earn high marks from site visitors for UX/UI.

o Swiftly complete the 2025 website rebranding project.

o Establish a systematic website update calendar and process to ensure content is consistently refreshed.

o Ensure the website team is prioritizing the website projects that will support the company’s goals for market impact and growth.

o Integrate AI-driven tools to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.

· Management of the CMS

o Ensure the website content management system (WordPress) is up to date and operating efficiently and securely.

o Ensure the company’s website is built upon a stable set of page templates to ensure changes/updates/new content can be implemented quickly.

o Consistently implement new WordPress features, plugins and updates.

o Develop and implement best practices for the Algoworks instance of WordPress to maximize ROI and operational efficiency.

o Manage access to WordPress to protect site security and quality.

· Website development & maintenance

o Manage the development of new web pages, applying best practices and with a keen eye for detail to ensure consistent color, spacing and alignment.

o Manage development of custom solutions to meet specific website requirements.

o Collaborate with campaign teams to develop campaign-specific landing pages with excellent conversion rates.

o Collaborate with designers and content creators to enhance user experience (UX/UI).

o Monitor and troubleshoot website issues, including bugs, broken links, downtime and performance lags.

· Website performance

o Optimize website speed, mobile responsiveness and overall performance.

o Implement and maintain security protocols, backups and updates.

o Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

· Website SEO / AI SEO

o Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings.

o Conduct keyword research, optimize metadata and work with content teams to ensure content is optimized for SEO.

o Implement an AI generative search experience strategy to ensure targeted rankings in AI search.

o Identify and implement various technology tools to monitor and improve SEO performance.

o Support the development of the marketing team’s SEM programs for maximum SEO lift.

· Website reporting and analytics

o Set up and maintain tracking tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and heatmaps.

o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including traffic, bounce rate, conversion rate and user behavior.

o Generate regular reports and dashboards to share insights with key stakeholders.

o Use data to inform website improvements, A/B testing and content strategy.

o Identify trends and opportunities for growth based on analytics insights.

· Continuous Process Improvement and Analytics

o Continuously evaluate, update and improve website configurations and processes. Implement feedback loops to gather user input and drive system enhancements.

o Utilize strong analytical skills to gather and analyze data, identify trends and embrace data-driven decision-making. Translate complex data and insights into rigorous, clear and actionable recommendations.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field.

· Minimum of 7 years of experience in website management, website development and SEO.

· Proven experience with WordPress and managing WordPress websites.

· Proficiency with Google Analytics and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights through visually appealing reports and dashboards.

· Skilled at project and people management.

· Savvy at building trusted internal stakeholder relationships across the organization.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, React js, JQuery, etc.

· Experience with keyword research and mapping, title and META tag optimization, internal and external linking, and other SEO strategies.

· Experience with optimizing for the AI generative search experience, including Ahrefs analysis and tracking.
