Role Overview

As an IT System Administrator, you will manage and optimize our hybrid infrastructure—including on-prem servers, AWS cloud services, and GoDaddy-hosted assets—while supporting a global workforce. You’ll play a key role in endpoint security, automation, and M&A IT integrations, ensuring our systems are resilient, scalable, and AI-enabled.

Key Responsibilities

Endpoint & Server Management

- Automate OS and application updates across endpoints

- Implement DLP policies and monitor USB/cloud/email activity

- Provide remote support and troubleshoot device issues

- Maintain physical and virtual servers with high uptime and security

- Apply patches, configure firewalls, and manage access controls

AWS Infrastructure

- Deploy and manage EC2 instances, load balancers, and auto-scaling groups

- Administer S3, RDS, and EBS resources

- Configure IAM roles, policies, and enforce MFA

- Monitor usage and optimize costs using reserved instances

- Automate infrastructure using CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CLI

GoDaddy Infrastructure

- Manage domain registration, DNS, and renewals

- Administer shared hosting, cPanel, and VPS environments

- Install SSL certificates and enforce HTTPS

- Configure email services and troubleshot hosting issues

License & Compliance

- Track and renew software licenses (OS, Microsoft 365, antivirus, etc.)

- Maintain asset inventory and ensure vendor compliance

- Coordinate with AWS, GoDaddy, Microsoft, and other providers

Identity & Access Management

- Implement and support Active Directory (AD) and ADFS

- Configure federation trusts and integrate with Azure AD, AWS Cognito

- Deploy Web Application Proxy (WAP) for external SSO access

- Monitor authentication logs and enforce MFA

Proxy Server Administration

- Deploy and configure proxy servers for filtering, caching, and SSL inspection

- Integrate with AD for user-based policies

- Monitor traffic logs and troubleshoot connectivity issues

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

- Use tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and AWS CloudWatch to monitor system health

- Resolve login issues, GPO conflicts, and performance bottlenecks

- Maintain SOPs, network diagrams, and change logs

Strategic & M&A Responsibilities

- Participate in M&A due diligence and IT infrastructure evaluations

- Develop integration playbooks and execute post-transaction IT integrations

- Use AI tools to accelerate integration and track KPIs

- Support strategic IT roadmaps and budgeting with AI-enhanced planning

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

- 6–10 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure and cloud environments

- Strong expertise in Windows Server, AWS, GoDaddy, AD/ADFS, and proxy servers

- Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Jira, and Microsoft Suite

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
