Job Title: Sr. Quality Analyst Experience: 3 - 6 Years Location: Kochi (Hybrid) Contract Duration: Short Term Work Shift: IST Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Quality Analyst to join our team on a short-term contract. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in validating data transformations, testing file processing formats (CSV, JSON, XML), and executing complex SQL queries. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of ETL processes and supporting data quality initiatives within Agile or Waterfall environments. Role Responsibilities: Analyze and validate ETL processes to ensure accurate and consistent data flow. Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and SQL queries for data validation. Identify, log, and manage defects through to resolution. Perform data reconciliation between source and target systems. Validate both incremental and full-load data processes. Test inbound and outbound file handling in various formats including CSV, JSON, and XML. Conduct data integrity checks to ensure completeness and correctness. Monitor and troubleshoot file ingestion and integration issues. Ensure seamless integration of files into database systems. Must Have Skills: Strong understanding of the QA process and methodologies. Proficiency in SQL for querying and data validation. In-depth knowledge of SDLC/STLC and bug lifecycle. Experience with Agile Scrum methodology. Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman and REST clients. Knowledge of BOS or CRM validation processes. Technical Competencies: Hands-on experience in ETL testing. Expertise in working with CSV, XML, and JSON file formats. Familiarity with scripting languages for automation and testing. Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS and Azure is a plus. Soft Skill Competencies: Ability to analyze large datasets and identify inconsistencies. Effective troubleshooting of data pipeline and file processing issues. Strong communication skills to explain test results and issues clearly. Well-documented test cases, defect reports, and status updates. Collaborative approach to working with developers, BAs, and DBAs. Experience in Agile and Waterfall project environments. Additional Competencies: Experience with tools such as Jira, QATouch. Familiarity with performance and automation tools like JMeter and Selenium. Willingness to adapt to new technologies as per project requirements. Show more Show less
