Primary Responsibilities Validate data with administrative source systems (source of truth) Analyze complex datasets Generate actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis Database Management: Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and other documentation Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues Data Extraction and Transformation: Support capital project that will, in part, import and transform data from various sources for broker bonus calculations Ensure data integrity and quality through rigorous validation and testing Data Visualization and Reporting: Create visually appealing and informative dashboards and reports Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner Continuous Learning and Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest data analysis techniques and tools Identify opportunities to improve data analysis processes and methodologies Actively participate in knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience 4+ years Experience as SAS Data Analyst Experience with relational database management systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) Experience with statistical analysis Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) Proven excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Proven solid communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex data analysis findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Proven detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
