Sr Quality Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer with 6-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in API Testing, proficiency in Postman, and a strong foundation in Manual Testing. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Location: Hyderabad Responsibilities: API Testing:· Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for API testing.· Collaborate with development teams to understand API functionality and ensure thorough test coverage.· Identify and report defects, track issues to resolution, and work closely with developers to ensure timely bug fixes. Proficient in Postman:· Utilize Postman for creating and managing API requests, testing workflows, and automating API testing processes.· Develop and maintain Postman collections for efficient and effective testing of APIs.· Stay updated on Postman features and best practices to enhance testing processes.Manual Testing:· Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet specified requirements.· Document and communicate test results, issues, and risks to the development team.· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and provide input for test planning. Requirements:· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.· 5 to 7 years of proven experience in API Testing with a strong understanding of RESTful APIs.· Proficiency in using Postman for API testing and automation.· Solid foundation in Manual Testing techniques and methodologies.· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.· Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.· Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.· Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
