Job Description

  • To maintain Customer Satisfaction to retain them,
  • To generate and convert the new leads to ensure we achieve sales and collection targets

Existing Customer - New Items

  • To manage and acknowledge the RFQ floated by the Existing Customer and document the same
  • To provide a specific timeline for the Quote Submission to the customer
  • To fill the Inquiry Review Form in coordination with the Sr. Sales Executive and to provide necessary training and decisions for any challenges faced
  • To execute Mail for any adequate/ missing details of the New Item to the customer and take follow-up for the same
  • To timely check the Inquiry Register about the tasks performed
  • To coordinate with the internal team for the Technical - Feasibility study as per the customer's requirements
  • To manage and review the Cost sheet prepared by the Development team
  • To add commercial inputs in the the Cost sheet submitted by development team.

To prepare the quote and submit to the customer, to take follow-ups for the same at regular intervals

If not accepted, conduct and execute revision for the commercials, and resend the quote

When accepted, ask for PO from the Customer

  • If the PO is as per the company’s checklist, proceed with order execution

If the PO is not as per the company’s checklist, ask for PO revision from the customer as per the checklist

  • To coordinate with the internal team and ensure timely delivery of samples of new items as per the company procedure, to the customer and get approval from the customer for bulk order

New Customer - New items


  • To coordinate and present the Company’s Overview and Credentials with the New Customer
  • As the Credentials meet/ agreed upon, manage the NDA (Non-disclosure agreement) and other legal requirements along with the Legal team
  • Once the NDA is signed, manage and acknowledge the RFQ floated by the New Customer, document the same, and depute a Sales Executive
  • After this, follow all the steps from

    3.2 to 3.11

New Customer Onboarding

To oversee and review the entry of New Customer details in the ERP system by the team

To manage and coordinate with the Lab team regarding Customer specifications and requirements

Order Execution - Existing Items

To ensure timely booking of correct PO in ERP received from the customer, if required for PO revision get involved and accelerate the process from the customer end

●  Oversee the Order Acceptance is shared on time with the Customer by the Sr. Sales - Executive

●   Oversee the timely order status has been shared with the customer by the senior sales executive

●  If required, coordinate with the production team to accelerate the production schedule as per customer demand

●  To ensure PO related documents are shared with the customer on time

Die Modification - Existing Items

  • Upon receipt of drawing revisions (castings/machining) send to development for feasibility study and cost workout
  • Take the cost for die modification/machining from development and submit the quote after adding commercials to the customer for approval
  • To take casting/machining stock from the PPC department and share the stock to the customer for approval to dispatch as per the old revision drawing

Order Execution - New Item


  • To receive the PO from the customer and get it verified as per quotation by the Sr. Sales Executive and if required communicate with the customer for any changes
  • To ensure timely booking of correct PO in ERP received from the customer, if required for PO revision get involved and accelerate the process from the customer end
  • After receipt of customer PO, inform the development team for Die development, take follow-ups, and ensure it is done on time

● Oversee the Order Acceptance is shared on time with the Customer by the Sr. Sales - Executive

● Oversee the Issue of the Work Order to the PPC team by Sr. Sales Executive

● Oversee the timely order status has been shared with the customer by the senior sales executive


  • To coordinate with the Development team and Sr. Sales Executive for timely Issue of the SRC (Sample Route Card)
  • To manage and share the Sample progress with the Customer, If required, coordinate with the production team to accelerate the production schedule as per customer demand
  • To coordinate with the QC team:-
  1. For access to the Inspection and test documents
  2. Checking the need for Third-Party inspection and arranging the same


  • To coordinate with the Development team for the Inspection and test documents and ensure it is timely shared with customers and approval for dispatch is taken by the Sr. Sales Executive
  • To ensure timely approval is taken from customers for the bulk by Sr. Sales Executive
  • To ensure timely resolution of the customer’s query and support customers regarding casting concessions, complaints, and other inquiries (if any)
  • To contribute to the BTL & TTL Marketing for the organization

BTL - Below the line (like Technical blogs, Mass E-mailers, etc.)

TTL - Digital Marketing like SEO, G Ads, LinkedIn Post Etc.

  • To prepare for the Exhibitions, and Participate in the same to increase the Awareness
  • To do the needful for the timely payment collection, to ensure the company’s cash flow does not get hampered
  • To timely monitor and maintain the concerned documents and reports according to MIS
  • To ensure timely resolution of the customer’s query and support customers regarding casting concessions, complaints, and other inquiries (if any)
  • To contribute to the Process Implementation and Upgradation for Sales and Marketing
  • To attend management review meetings, discuss the challenges, maintain documentation, and contribute to learning and development programs
  • To perform and maintain data entry in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • To maintain data security and confidentiality
  • To act as a substitute in the absence of your colleague and take the emergent responsibilities
  • To support HR in the Employee life cycle, including Recruitment and Selection, Induction, ensuring proper Training of new and existing team members, Performance management, and Exit & Retention as well
  • To live by HR policy and continue to do so
