Position Summary: Senior Java Developer (OSS/BSS & Billing Systems)

Senior Java Developer

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our network and server infrastructure teams to develop APIs, subsystems, and core infrastructure software. These components support our SIM, router, mobile connectivity, and IoT platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications for OSS/BSS & billing systems
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Develop and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs
• Integrate with third-party systems including CRM, ERP, and network management platforms
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and regression tests
• Document system design, architecture, and development decisions
• Provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years

  of hands-on experience with Java development

• 5+ years

  of experience in API design and development
• Strong experience with

  OSS/BSS platforms, telecom billing systems

  , or

  subscription management

  applications
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture principles
• Familiarity with telecom protocols such as SOAP, Diameter, or SMPP is advantageous
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Proficiency with development and deployment tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other programming languages such as

  Python, Go, JavaScript,

  or

  Node.js

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Awareness of security and data privacy standards
