Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Executive – Purchase (B2B) Sales to manage and streamline our procurement activities specifically in the pesticide and agrochemical segment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in B2B sales, vendor development, negotiation, and strategic sourcing within the agricultural inputs sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers/vendors for pesticides, technicals, and raw materials.
• Conduct effective B2B negotiations to secure favorable prices, credit terms, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor and manage the end-to-end procurement cycle — from raising purchase orders to vendor payment coordination.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, traders, and distributors.
• Stay updated with market trends, product innovations, and competitor activity in the pesticide sector.
• Collaborate with the R&D and Production teams to ensure timely availability of materials based on production schedules.
• Track inventory levels and plan procurement accordingly to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance (CIB, FCO norms, etc.).
• Maintain MIS reports and procurement records for audit and analysis.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Agriculture / Chemistry / Supply Chain / Business Management.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in B2B procurement or purchase roles, preferably in pesticides or agrochemical industry.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Sound understanding of pesticide market dynamics, technical specifications, and vendor base.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously.
