Sr. Accountant

Job Description: Senior Accountant (Manufacturing Unit)Position: Senior AccountantDepartment: Accounts & FinanceLocation: Bhavnagar Road Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities:1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain and update day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Monitor daily cash & bank transactions and reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries, ledgers, and trial balance.

2. Manufacturing Costing & Inventory Control

• Prepare cost sheets, analyze production cost variances, and assist in cost optimization.
• Coordinate with the production department for raw material consumption, wastage, and stock accuracy.
• Perform monthly stock verification and reconciliation for RM, PM, FG, and WIP.

3. Taxation & Compliance

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9).
• Manage TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, PF/ESI if applicable).
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.

4. Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements.
• Support management with MIS reports, budget analysis, and variance reports.
• Assist in annual financial closing and finalize accounts.

5. Vendor & Customer Management

• Handle vendor agreements, payment schedules, and credit management.
• Follow up with customers for outstanding payments and maintain ageing reports.

6. Internal Controls & Process Improvement

• Implement financial controls to reduce errors and improve efficiency.
• Ensure proper documentation, record keeping, and adherence to company policies.
• Work closely with other departments to streamline financial operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter preferred.
• 4–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / ERP software, GST, TDS, and costing.
• Good understanding of stock management and production accounting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, MIS reporting).
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle deadlines and multitask.

Pay: ₹15,291.16 - ₹44,077.31 per month
