Sr. Accountant

A Senior Accountant with MIS (Management Information Systems) develops, implements, and maintains financial MIS, generating insightful reports to support management decision-making. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, conducting complex analysis, ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing audits, managing accounts, and mentoring junior staff. Key skills involve advanced analytical abilities, proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, Tally), strong Excel skills, and excellent communication. Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting:Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP/IFRS.
• Analysis and Insights:Analyze financial data to identify trends, provide insights into business performance, and recommend financial actions to management.
• MIS Development & Maintenance:Design, implement, and oversee financial MIS to collect and process accounting data, creating comprehensive reports.
• Reconciliations:Conduct and review balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations, as well as bank statement reconciliations.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:Assist with budget preparation and forecasting processes.
• Audits & Compliance:Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and tax regulations.
• Process Improvement:Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Mentorship:Train and mentor junior accounting staff, overseeing their work and ensuring accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Certifications: Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is often preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Accounting Software: Proficiency in software such as Empire, Boss, Tally.
• Excel: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex data for management.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
