Job Description

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha
Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹40,000/month
Experience: 6–7 years.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Oversee GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and filings.
Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
Supervise junior accountants and support staff.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
6–7 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a mid-sized company.
Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and lead a small team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
