Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Accountant with experience in the bitumen or manufacturing sector to handle day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Tally ERP, GST, TDS, and manufacturing accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily accounting transactions and ensure accurate financial records.Handle accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Oversee GST filing, TDS computation, and return submissions.Monitor stock accounting, purchase, and sales entries related to bitumen products.Coordinate with internal departments for invoice generation, payment follow-up, and vendor reconciliation.Support audits, prepare schedules, and ensure statutory compliance.Assist management in budgeting, cost control, and MIS reporting.Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy in all financial data.

Requirements:
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting or Finance.7–10 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or bitumen industry.Proficient in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and basic accounting software.Sound understanding of GST, TDS, and company accounting standards.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:
Experience handling manufacturing entries and inventory reconciliation.Knowledge of E-way bills and invoice preparation.Familiarity with petroleum or bitumen sector accounting practices.
