Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and kitchen management, with excellent leadership skills.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
Manage and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production and presentation.
Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance culinary offerings.
Conduct regular quality checks on food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable establishment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu planning.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage staff.
Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances, including ovens, refrigerators, and dish washing machines.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
