Qualifications Solar Technical Engineer (1 Post): Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in the solar industry, with hands-on experience in designing and installing solar energy systems. Fresher’s may also apply. Proficiency in design and simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst). Strong understanding of electrical systems, power electronics, and grid-tied solar systems. Knowledge of solar energy standards and best practices. Relevant certifications (e.g., NABCEP Solar PV Installation Professional) are a plus. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities. Ability to conduct on-site work, including climbing ladders and working on rooftops, when needed. Familiarity with battery storage systems and hybrid solutions. Experience with data logging and remote monitoring tools. Project management skills and experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams. Roles & Responsibilities Design and Engineering: Develop and review technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics for solar energy systems to ensure compliance with local codes and company standards. Project Assessment: Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies to assess solar potential, shading, and project viability. System Installation Oversight: Oversee the installation process, ensuring proper setup of panels, inverters, wiring, and other system components. Performance Monitoring: Implement and maintain system monitoring solutions to evaluate performance and ensure optimal energy production. Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve technical issues that arise during or after installation, providing solutions to maintain system efficiency and reliability. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and timely project delivery. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects adhere to local regulations, safety standards, and company protocols. Technical Support: Provide guidance and support to customers and team members, offering technical expertise as needed. Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports, technical documentation, and project records for internal and client use.
