The CSCP organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as plan, source, make, deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), sustainability, and decommissioning of datacenter assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. Responsibilities
Coding Writes extensible, maintainable code using best practices and patterns; ensures diagnosability, reliability, and readiness for delivery. Applies debugging tools, reviews logs and telemetry proactively and reactively; identifies root causes. Participates in code reviews to uphold quality standards, applies feedback, and screens for best practices. Design Creates test plans, defines success criteria, and improves coverage through new, updated, and automated tests. Contributes to architecture proposals, design documents, and technology decisions; ensures compliance and security. Identifies dependencies, downstream impacts, and drives coordination across teams. Engineering Excellence Shares knowledge, identifies tool gaps, and builds automation for production and deployment. Runs code in non-production environments; stays current on practices for reliability, performance, and observability. Applies compliance and security standards; follows best practices for scaling and regulations. Implement Experiments to validate changes; applies findings to development. Breaks down work items, estimates, and escalates blockers; supports safe deployments. Reliability & Supportability Acts as DRI for monitoring and restoring services; responds within SLA. Integrates telemetry for performance and reliability; creates dashboards and notifications. Maintains live service operations, mitigates issues, and escalates complex problems. Understand User Requirements Works with stakeholders to define requirements; incorporates feedback loops and actionable metrics into designs.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
