Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our agile development team. You will play a key role in designing, building, and supporting scalable, high-quality solutions across the full technology stack. This role involves collaboration with architects, product managers, and peers to deliver end-to-end features that support business objectives while upholding engineering best practices.
Role
- Design and implement technical solutions that align with business requirements and adhere to Mastercard’s engineering standards, patterns, and best practices.
- Build RESTful/GraphQL APIs and ensure seamless integration with UI components.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and solution architects to refine feature definitions, shape technical approaches, and deliver functional, maintainable software.
- Develop and document end-to-end features, including design artifacts, prototypes, and production-grade code, as part of an agile scrum team.
- Conduct peer code reviews across multiple scrum teams to uphold high-quality engineering and clean code standards.
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and functional tests in line with the Definition of Done.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during UAT and production support phases, prioritizing based on business impact.
- Participate in post-implementation and production support activities, ensuring operational stability and timely resolution of incidents.
- Research and develop PoCs to evaluate new technologies and contribute new insights to the team.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to junior team members while continuously improving your own understanding of the platform and technologies.
- Work in a collaborative Scrum environment with clear accountability and ownership.

All About You
- 3–5 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases.
- Experience with Git version control system and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as PCF, AWS, or Azure.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps culture.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Self-starter with a growth mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
