Software Engineer - Web/Cloud

How You’ll Drive Success

Software Development

• Design, develop, and test software to resolve defects and implement user stories.
• Utilize modern development practices to solve complex problems related to the team’s domain.
• Develop and commit to test-driven development.
• Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions that are secure, scalable, and reliable.
• Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards are met within cloud environments.
• Manage and automate cloud deployments using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to implement DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Team Collaboration

• Work with the team in writing, correctly sizing, and accurately detailing and breaking down stories and defects.
• Pro-actively coordinate with other developers, actively contributing to solution sets aimed at satisfying how best to implement changes.
• ·Conduct peer reviews independently.

Communication

• Communicate project status regularly, inclusive of all pertinent details, with all necessary stakeholders.
• Actively participate in planning meetings related to assigned areas.

Expertise And Development

• Continuously work to develop good knowledge and expertise in your team’s area of responsibility.
• Continuously develop a good understanding of the tools, technologies, and processes for software development.

The Talents We’re Seeking

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Required Skills

• 4-5 years’ experience developing commercial CAD/CAM applications in

  C++

  and experience developing in

  C#

  for Windows applications. Must be familiar with WPF, MVVM.
• Experience with full stack web development using

  ASP.NET Web AP

  I back-end and

  React

  for front-end.
• Experience with Cloud development and deployment using

  Azure Cloud Services

  .
• Experience with Containerization and Orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience developing for Microsoft Windows using Visual Studio.
• Experience with standard software development practices such as source control, peer reviews, and unit testing.
• Experience with agile software development.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented development.

Preferred Skills

• Team player who can clearly communicate with both technical and non-technical co-workers.
• A proven ability to drive projects to completion.
• A track record of delivering well-designed, high-quality software.
