Select appropriate tools, cutting parameters, and machining strategies for efficient and accurate part production. Perform test runs and troubleshoot programs to ensure quality and compliance. Collaborate with design and production teams to refine and improve machining processes. Maintain documentation of programs, setup sheets, and machining best practices. Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards during all machining operations. Required Skills & Qualifications: ITI / Diploma / Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 2–5 years of proven experience in VMC programming. Strong command of PowerMILL and Mastercam software. Good knowledge of machining processes, tool selection, and fixture design. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with multi-axis programming (3-axis / 4-axis / 5-axis). Familiarity with CNC machine setup and operation. Exposure to CAM post-processor customization. Understanding of material behavior and cutting conditions for various metals and alloys.
