Software Architect

Job Title: Software Architect – Medical Imaging Solutions Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Software Architect to join our Scrum team developing advanced medical imaging software products. This role demands strong technical leadership, expertise in modern development frameworks, and the ability to design and guide the creation of complex software systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on development experience, a solid understanding of software architecture principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and geographies. Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with product teams to elaborate software requirements and devise technical solutions. Conceptualize, design, and develop product sub-systems for medical imaging solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team. Ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements (NFRs) such as performance, scalability, and security. Work closely with cross-functional teams across locations (including international teams) to ensure seamless delivery. Participate in software estimation, scheduling, and tracking to meet project goals. Contribute to and enforce best practices in software engineering processes, requirements engineering, and Agile methodologies. Required Qualifications & SkillsExperience: 10+ years of hands-on design and development using multiple technologies, test frameworks, and programming languages, with at least 2+ years as a Software Architect. Proficient in Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, Web API, C#, WPF, WCF, and .NET technologies. Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Analysis & Design (OOA/OOD) and UML modeling (experience with Enterprise Architect is a plus). Experience with source control tools (TFS experience preferred). Strong understanding of NFRs and their implementation. Solid knowledge of software engineering processes and requirements engineering. Familiarity with container technologies and Kubernetes is a plus. Exposure to healthcare domain and Agile practices is advantageous. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
