Role Description:

We are seeking a motivated Soft Skills Trainer (full time) who will prepare students for campus placements and help them transition successfully into the professional world. The role involves designing, developing, and delivering training programs that enhance employability skills, aligning with recruiter expectations, and guiding students through the entire recruitment process.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the Placement and Career Services team to conduct a comprehensive needs analysis and identify student skill gaps in areas such as communication, interview readiness, and related competencies.
  • Develop and deliver structured training modules on communication skills, group discussions, teamwork, leadership, time management, adaptability, emotional intelligence, workplace etiquette, professional behavior, and effective presentation and public speaking.
  • Organize and facilitate experiential learning activities such as mock interviews, group discussions, role plays, and case studies to simulate campus recruitment scenarios.
  • Provide personalized coaching and mentoring to students requiring additional support in areas like confidence-building, language fluency, and overcoming nervousness.


Requirements:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree (any discipline) preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a soft skills or employability trainer, or in a related training role, preferably with exposure to campus recruitment and student training.
  • Strong command of English (verbal and written) with the ability to simplify concepts, provide clear explanations, and offer constructive feedback.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining high-quality delivery.
  • Well-organized with strong skills in tracking and reporting student progress, attendance, and feedback.
