About the Role:

Social Media Strategist

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

  • Design comprehensive social media strategies aligned with client goals and overall marketing objectives.
  • Conduct audience research and platform analysis to identify trends and opportunities for engagement.
  • Develop content pillars, campaign themes, and innovative storytelling approaches.

Content Creation & Management:

  • Oversee the creation of engaging, high-quality content tailored to various social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, etc.).
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and video producers to ensure cohesive and impactful content delivery.
  • Plan and maintain social media calendars while ensuring timely execution.

Performance Analysis:

  • Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, etc.).
  • Use data insights to optimize campaigns and recommend new approaches for improving ROI.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify benchmarks and opportunities for differentiation.

Client Servicing & Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of their business objectives.
  • Present strategies, campaign plans, and performance reports to clients in an engaging, data-driven manner.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, managing expectations and delivering outstanding service.

Community Management:

  • Oversee the management of client social media communities, ensuring prompt and thoughtful responses.
  • Monitor brand sentiment and provide recommendations for reputation management.

Industry Trends & Innovation:

  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and emerging tools.
  • Propose and test innovative ideas to keep clients’ social media presence fresh and competitive.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience

    in marketing, social media management, and client servicing.
  • Proven success in creating and implementing multi-platform social media strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva, Google Analytics, and platform-specific insights (Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Analytics, etc.).
  • Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with a results-driven mindset.
  • Creativity and a knack for crafting compelling brand stories.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience managing paid social media campaigns.
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing and partnerships.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and content marketing.
