We provide services in Digital PR, Online Reputation Management, Social Media Marketing, SEO, Content Strategy, and Branding. Our agency focuses on delivering high-quality work, trend-driven strategies, and modern digital solutions. We are expanding our research and strategy team and are looking for passionate learners who want real experience in social media research and competitor analysis.


Role Description: Social Media Research and Strategy Intern

This role is designed for individuals who enjoy observing social media, analyzing trends, and studying how online content performs. You will work closely with the Social Media Manager, Content Creator, and Strategy Team to provide research-backed insights that help shape our content strategy.

You will study trends, understand what our competitors are doing, and track how audiences behave online. Your research will directly influence the content we create for social media platforms.

This internship is fully remote, beginner-friendly, and created to provide detailed training and hands-on experience.


Key Responsibilities


1. Trend Research and Analysis

You will be responsible for studying trends that appear across social media platforms. This includes:

  • Tracking daily and weekly trends on Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and similar platforms
  • Identifying trending topics, formats, editing styles, sounds, hashtags, and content patterns
  • Monitoring how creators and brands use trends to increase engagement
  • Studying which trends are relevant for digital marketing, branding, entrepreneurship, and agency-focused content
  • Preparing a weekly trend report that includes examples, links, descriptions, and suggestions on how Uzi World Digital can use those trends


2. Competitor Research and Benchmarking

You will closely analyze competitors in the digital marketing and branding space. Tasks include:

  • Identifying key competitors across India and globally
  • Tracking their posting frequency, topics, formats, design style, and level of engagement
  • Observing their content that performs the best and documenting why it works
  • Monitoring their growth patterns, content categories, hooks, and storytelling methods
  • Preparing a competitor analysis sheet each week that compares strengths, weaknesses, gaps, and opportunities
  • Highlighting specific content ideas that we can adapt or improve


3. Content Support Based on Research

You will assist the content team using your research findings. This includes:

  • Developing detailed content idea sheets with hooks, captions, references, and suggested formats
  • Organizing research into categories such as reels, carousels, educational content, storytelling content, and engagement content
  • Suggesting content themes based on current trends, industry updates, and competitor strategies
  • Helping the team plan monthly content calendars with well-researched inputs


4. Audience Behavior and Insights

You will study how audiences react to content. This includes:

  • Observing comments, likes, shares, saves, and questions on both our pages and competitor pages
  • Identifying audience pain points, interests, frustrations, and common questions
  • Understanding what type of content people enjoy, interact with, ignore, or complain about
  • Tracking what times and days audiences are most active
  • Creating weekly audience insight summaries based on data and patterns


5. Documentation and Reporting

This role requires clear documentation and reporting. You will:

  • Maintain organized Google Sheets, Docs, and tracking files
  • Use company templates for trend reports, competitor analysis, content ideas, and insight summaries
  • Present findings during weekly meetings in a simple and structured way
  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness in all research documents
  • Keep records updated and easy for the team to understand


Internship Details

  • Duration: 2 to 3 months
  • Working Hours: 1 to 2 hours per day, flexible according to your schedule
  • Work Mode: Remote
  • Mentorship: Weekly one-on-one sessions with a senior team member for guidance and training
  • Tools Provided: Templates, SOPs, research frameworks, examples, reference files, and learning resources


Candidate Requirements

We welcome applicants from all academic backgrounds. You do not need experience. Training will be provided.

You should have:

  • Strong interest in social media, digital trends, and content creation
  • Good observation skills and the ability to learn quickly
  • Curiosity to explore why certain content performs better than others
  • Ability to research topics thoroughly and present information clearly
  • Basic familiarity with Instagram or YouTube content formats
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to stay consistent and organized
  • Willingness to learn and improve throughout the internship


Preferred but not required:

  • Prior exposure to research, social media, or marketing
  • Experience working with Google Sheets or Docs
