Job Description

We provide premium, cost effective, high quality services that support process quality and delivery capability in support for client engagements.At PwC – as a Snowflake Developer, the Candidate should have strong expertise in Snowflake and Dremio to design, develop, and optimize scalable cloud data solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into technical designs, develop data pipelines and analytical workflows, and ensure efficient query performance and data integrity within Snowflake and Dremio environments.

Candidates with 4-8 years of hands on experience

Position Requirements

Must Have

:
  • Hands-on experience building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake cloud data warehouse features such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, and data sharing capabilities.
  • Strong expertise with Dremio for data lake acceleration, data virtualization, and query optimization across multiple data sources.
  • Experience in Data Migration from RDBMS to Snowflake cloud data warehouse
  • Should be aware in deploying Snowflake features such as data sharing, events and lake-house patterns
  • Ability to optimize and troubleshoot query performance and resource utilization in Snowflake and Dremio environments.
  • Exposure to cloud AWS, Azure or GCP data storage and management technologies such as S3, Blob/ADLS and Google Cloud Storage
  • Experience in defining cloud migration strategy for Database / Datalake
  • Knowledge of data security best practices, access control mechanisms, and data governance within cloud platforms.
  • Should have a good understanding of Data Quality processes, methods and project lifecycle.
  • Experience validating the ETL and writing SQL queries
  • Strong knowledge in DWH/ODS, ETL concept and modeling structure principles
  • Should have clear understanding of DW Lifecycle and contributed in preparing technical design documents and test plans
  • Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies and collaborative team environments.
  • Good analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills

Good To Have Skills

  • Experience integrating Snowflake and Dremio with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik
  • Knowledge of data integration tools like Informatica, DataStage, or Ab Initio.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Qlik.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or PySpark.
  • Certifications related to cloud data warehousing or Snowflake.
  • Cloud - AWS, GCP, Oracle-Cloud
  • Business Intelligence - MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Cognos
  • Data Appliance - Teradata, Netezza
