Job Description

Location: India (Remote with travel in India and occasional international travel) Type: Full-time On-call: Yes (rotational) About the Role We’re in the midst of a major infrastructure evolution — transitioning our infrastructure to AWS — and we’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help us finish strong and scale confidently as more customers come onboard. You’ll join at a critical moment: our core infrastructure is Dockerised , our apps are built in Rails , and we’re using hosted development environments to stay efficient and secure. As an SRE, you’ll take ownership of security, SLAs, and infrastructure cost optimisation , ensuring that what we build is not just reliable — but also secure, scalable, and efficient. Key Responsibilities Drive the completion of our Render-to-AWS migration , bringing experience and sharp execution to the table. Maintain and scale Dockerised applications in AWS using best practices for security, performance, and uptime. Implement and uphold SLAs for infrastructure and services, and build the systems to monitor them. Ensure infrastructure security across environments, including hosted development environments. Take responsibility for infrastructure cost control , including budgeting, usage reporting, and optimisation. Manage and evolve Infrastructure as Code using Terraform . Participate in a rotating on-call schedule ; take ownership of incident response and reliability metrics. Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer teams to support fast-moving development and deployments. Be willing to travel within India (and sometimes internationally) for team syncs or strategic projects. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure roles. Proven experience deploying and operating systems in AWS at scale. AWS certifications (valid and current) — such as Solutions Architect, SysOps Admin, or DevOps Engineer — are mandatory and will be verified. Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tooling. Hands-on experience managing Dockerised applications in production. Solid understanding of cloud security, observability, and high availability design . Experience optimising cloud infrastructure costs . Comfort with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python). Ability to work independently and remotely, with strong communication skills. Nice to Have Experience with Ruby on Rails , Postgres , Sidekiq , Redis , and Headless Chrome . Familiarity with CI/CD tooling and hosted development environments . Golang experience Exposure to fast-paced SaaS or startup environments. Exclusivity & Background Checks This is a strictly full-time and exclusive role .
