Vice President of Engineering

As the Vice President of Engineering at Novatro, you will play a crucial role in leading our engineering team towards rapid growth and technical evolution. Reporting to the CTO, you will be responsible for shaping the technical vision, overseeing the scaling of our engineering teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software. Working closely with the CTO and product leadership, you will cultivate an engineering culture that prioritizes excellence, speed, and impact. Your key responsibilities will encompass various aspects, including leadership and strategy, technical delivery and operations, people and organizational development, process and practices, and cross-functional collaboration. You will define and execute the engineering strategy aligned with Novatro's product vision, mentor high-performing engineering teams, drive engineering excellence and best practices, oversee software delivery, ensure scalable and reliable software platforms, and collaborate with other teams for roadmap planning and execution. To excel in this role, you should have at least 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership positions. You must possess a strong technical background in SaaS, cloud-native platforms, and modern web technologies. Your leadership, people management, and team-building skills should be exceptional, along with experience in agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and product-driven development. Excellent communication skills in English are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience in manufacturing tech, ERP systems, or AI-powered platforms, familiarity with startup or growth-phase company environments, exposure to distributed teams and global collaboration, and a background in areas such as cost optimization, security, and scaling infrastructure.
