Job Title: Senior Business System Analyst – US Mortgage Domain Location Preference: Trivandrum, Kochi, Remote Experience: 7–12 Years Work Hours: Must have at least 4 hours of overlap with US Pacific business hours Open Positions: 3 About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Business System Analyst with extensive exposure to the US Mortgage industry . This is a critical client-facing role that requires a deep understanding of the mortgage lifecycle , including loan origination, underwriting, servicing, and closing . As a key liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and translating complex business needs into functional and technical specifications. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business and functional requirements related to various mortgage processes. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), use cases, and process flows. Analyze and optimize key mortgage workflows such as loan origination, underwriting, processing, closing, and post-closing. Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and third-party service providers to ensure that business needs are clearly understood and translated into technical solutions. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by developing test cases, reviewing test plans, validating system behavior, and ensuring alignment with business expectations. Conduct data analysis and profiling to support regulatory reporting and decision-making. Maintain detailed records of system integrations, data mapping, and interactions with third-party vendors. Ensure solutions are compliant with industry regulations such as TRID, RESPA, HMDA, and FHA guidelines. Continuously identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions that enhance system efficiency and customer experience. Stay updated on industry trends, legal changes, and compliance standards in the mortgage domain. Must-Have Candidate Requirements: Minimum of 7 years of experience as a core Business Analyst in IT (excluding operations, QA, support, and development roles). At least 3 years of hands-on experience in the US Mortgage domain, specifically in loan origination or servicing. Demonstrated expertise in: Requirement elicitation and analysis BRD/FSD preparation User story creation and wireframing UAT coordination and stakeholder management Strong knowledge of mortgage terms and workflows, such as automated underwriting, product pricing, credit risk evaluation, and compliance processes. Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io, and Balsamiq. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively. Based in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, or Karnataka. Good To Have Familiarity with data integrations, third-party vendor platforms, SQL, and data mapping. Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, CSPO, or SAFe POPM. Educational background in B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA/M.Tech from a reputed institution. MBA in Business, Finance, or IT-related disciplines. Why Join Us?
