Job Title: ServiceNow ITAM Advisor

Location: PAN INDIA

Work Mode: Hybrid Mode

Experience: 7+years (6 years Relevant)

Job Type: Contract to hire (C2H)

Key Responsibilities

ServiceNow SAM Development

  • Design, configure, and customize

    ServiceNow SAM Pro

    features including reconciliation, normalization, software models, and entitlement management.
  • Develop and enhance SAM workflows, business rules, client/server scripts, integrations, and UI policies.
  • Create and maintain

    software discovery models

    , product models, and licensing metrics.
  • Implement

    product usage tracking

    , reclamation workflows, and automated software lifecycle processes.

ITAM / SAM Advisory

  • Provide guidance on

    software licensing models

    (Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, VMware, IBM, etc.).
  • Advise business owners on license compliance, optimization opportunities, and risk mitigation.
  • Analyze software consumption vs. entitlements and prepare compliance reports.
  • Recommend improvements in SAM processes, governance, and data quality.

Process & Governance

  • Implement best practices for Software Asset Management in accordance with ITIL and ISO standards.
  • Collaborate with procurement and vendor management to maintain accurate contract and entitlement data.
  • Support audits by providing accurate license usage and compliance data.
  • Work with CMDB and Discovery teams to ensure accurate SAM-related CI and inventory information.
