Title: Senior Talend Developer

Location: Hyderabad (Onsite)

Role

Senior / Lead Talend Developer

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement
ETL/ELT pipelines
using Talend (DI, Cloud, Big Data, ESB as applicable).
Lead data integration projects involving
multiple source systems
such as databases, flat files, APIs, and cloud platforms.
Perform
data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading
into target systems including data warehouses.
Optimize Talend jobs for
performance, scalability, and reliability
.
Handle
production deployments
, job scheduling, and monitoring using
TAC/TMC
.
Troubleshoot and resolve
production issues
, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive fixes.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and QA teams to gather and translate requirements.
Perform
code reviews
, enforce ETL best practices, and mentor junior developers.
Prepare and maintain
technical documentation
, mapping documents, and deployment artifacts.
Support
data migration and modernization initiatives
from legacy systems to modern platforms.
Ensure compliance with
data quality, security, and governance standards
.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with
Talend Data Integration / Talend Cloud / Talend Big Data.
Expertise in
ETL concepts
and data warehousing fundamentals.
Proficient in
SQL
(SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Experience with
TAC/TMC
for scheduling, deployment, and monitoring.
Strong understanding of
Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact & Dimension tables.
Experience with
performance tuning and error handling
in ETL jobs.
Familiarity with
Unix/Linux commands.
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to
cloud data platforms
(Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, GCP BigQuery).
Experience with
API integration
(REST/SOAP, JSON/XML).
Knowledge of
CI/CD and version control
(Git, Bitbucket, SVN).
Experience in
data migration projects.
Basic scripting or programming knowledge (Java / Python).
Prior experience in
leading or mentoring teams.
