Senior Talend Developer

As a Senior Talend Developer at Sedin Technologies, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying ETL processes using Talend for data integration and ETL development. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting global teams during night shifts to ensure smooth operations and scalable data pipelines. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy ETL processes using Talend (Data Integration/Big Data). - Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Collaborate with data architects and analysts to implement scalable data pipelines. - Optimize and troubleshoot existing ETL processes for performance and reliability. - Integrate data from various sources such as databases, APIs, and flat files. - Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote, night-shift working environment. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 8-12 years of total IT experience with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Talend. - Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and working with large datasets. - Experience in data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data governance. - Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus. - Familiarity with other ETL tools, scheduling tools, and CI/CD processes is advantageous. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication skills and flexibility to work during night shifts (US time zones). Preferred Qualifications: - Talend certification(s). - Experience with Talend Big Data or Talend Cloud. - Exposure to Agile methodologies.
