Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced

BI Analyst

with strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and data/analytics technologies. This role will serve as the primary liaison between WMS functional teams and BI teams/external vendors, ensuring business reporting and analytics requirements are clearly defined, developed, and validated. The BI Analyst will oversee solution design, coordinate delivery with BI developers and vendors, and ensure robust testing and adoption of reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering & Translation
Collaborate with WMS business/functional teams to capture BI, reporting, and analytics requirements.
Translate functional reporting needs into clear technical specifications for BI teams and vendors.
BI Development Oversight
Work with internal BI teams and external vendors to design, build, and deliver dashboards, reports, and data models that support WMS operations.
Ensure data integration from WMS and other systems (ERP, TMS, LMS, Automation) into the BI environment.
Validate that solutions meet accuracy, performance, and scalability standards.
Testing & Validation
Coordinate BI testing, data validation, and end-to-end reconciliation with WMS teams.
Oversee defect triage and resolution for reporting solutions.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Act as the single point of contact between WMS teams and BI/vendor teams.
Partner with business SMEs, IT architects, QA, and data governance teams to ensure seamless delivery.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure BI solutions align with enterprise data strategy, architecture, and governance standards.
Drive documentation, metadata management, and knowledge transfer to operational teams.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience:
7+ years of IT/BI experience, with at least 3+ years in WMS or Supply Chain analytics.
Hands-on experience with BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of data integration, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and warehouse concepts.
Proven track record of working with vendors and BI teams to deliver large-scale solutions.
Skills:
Excellent analytical, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Familiarity with agile BI delivery, DevOps for data, and testing methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in WMS modernization or supply chain transformation programs.
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, TMS, LMS, and Automation data sources.
Understanding of Azure Data Services, Snowflake, or cloud-based BI architectures.
Experience of working with offshore/nearshore BI vendor team
