The BCC is now known as BCN (Bain Capability Network) with its nodes across various geographies. BCN is an integral and largest unit of (ECD) Expert Client Delivery. ECD plays a critical role as it adds value to Bain's case teams globally by supporting them with analytics and research solutioning across all industries, specific domains for corporate cases, client development, private equity diligence or Bain intellectual property. The BCN comprises of Consulting Services, Knowledge Services and Shared Services.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Act as a senior member of the BCN India finance team, working closely with the Expert Client Delivery (ECD), and Office Leadership, the incumbent will be primarily responsible for the BCN staffing reporting for the BCN office and enables staffing decision-making.

STAFFING OPERATIONS AND REPORTING

  • Responsible for ensuring completion of staffing of BCN ECD resources in the staffing tool
  • Manage staffing processes and databases to a high level of accuracy, including updating the overall allocation database in the staffing tool
  • Responsible for data consolidation using automation tools, performing data cleaning, and preparing to generate meaningful insights from data
  • Responsible for sharing chargeback data, and employee resource mapping data with the internal team on a monthly basis
  • Creating and publishing tableau dashboards for internal staffing reporting to management
  • Work closely with managers and senior managers to ensure the level of staffing and case information is captured in appropriate ways across locations
  • Coordinate with HR/PD teams to track employee records, and share required commercial metrics to measure the HLAs for performance/promotion/transfer cases

SURVEYS

  • Regular reach-outs to update case records and trigger feedback forms for completed cases
  • Provide Customer Survey (NPS) response dashboard to the senior leadership team on a monthly basis
  • Run Case team survey (CTSU) for all BCN employees to know the case feedback within teams and share the analysis with team & office leadership

PROJECTS

  • From time to time, re-visit the staffing process and guidelines to improve efficiency and effectiveness, in line with the above objectives
  • Continuously improve local staffing processes and support regional & global staffing initiatives as required
  • Lead or support office projects as required, e.g. working with Finance to improve visibility on chargeback and utilization

TEAM LEADERSHIP

  • Provide coaching and mentorship to direct reports on daily operations, striving for the best customer service delivery
  • Build capabilities of direct reports and help them transition into senior roles by giving helpful feedback, tracking performance, and following up on the development plan

ABOUT YOU

    • MBA/PG degree with 7-8 years of work experience in Finance/Staffing/Data Analytics or a related field
    • Proficiency in Excel, and at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau)
    • Experience with Python/R for data analysis and visualization preferred.
