As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll be an integral part of our global QA function, directly supporting our range of SaaS products. You'll work alongside development and product teams to ensure robust, scalable, and high-performing software that meets the highest standards. • Design and execute comprehensive manual test strategies for enterprise-level web and backend applications.
• Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test data aligned to evolving business requirements.
• Lead functional testing efforts across system, integration, regression, and smoke testing phases.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to define acceptance criteria and ensure high-quality feature delivery.
• Perform hands-on exploratory testing and scenario validation across web interfaces, APIs, and data layers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support story grooming, sprint planning, and testing scoping activities.
• Document and track defects clearly, working closely with engineering teams to support root cause analysis and resolution.
• Support test planning and coordination for production releases, including validation and rollback procedures.
• Provide mentoring to junior QA team members and contribute to the overall improvement of QA practices.
• If experienced, contribute to automation efforts for regression scenarios and help maintain automated test scripts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in functional software testing, ideally across web and backend platforms.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management.
• Demonstrated ability to design and execute comprehensive test cases with minimal oversight.
• Experience working with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
• Familiarity with SQL for database validation and basic querying.
• Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional global teams.
• Some exposure to automation tools or scripting (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured) is advantageous but not required.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments, contributing to regular sprint cycles.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
