Senior Software Quality Engineer

Role Overview: As a Test Engineer at KOKO Networks, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of KOKO's suite of products that span multiple technical domains in software and hardware. Your responsibilities will include reviewing requirements, developing test plans, executing automation scripts, identifying and tracking bugs, performing regression testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions to customers. Key Responsibilities: - Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback - Develop deep product and domain knowledge of KOKO's systems - Create detailed test plans and test cases in collaboration with internal teams - Prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities - Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using tools like Cucumber and Selenium - Identify, document, and track bugs through to closure - Perform regression testing and apply testing processes to improve product quality and functionality - Monitor debugging process results and provide inputs to fix issues - Contribute to defining QA processes, provide training and guidance to testing team members - Collaborate with resources on defects/issues and timelines for timely release delivery - Track quality assurance metrics and stay updated with new testing tools and strategies Qualifications Required: - At least 8+ years of relevant experience in manual and automation testing - Proficiency in BDD tools like Cucumber with web testing frameworks such as Selenium - Hands-on programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript - Experience in testing REST APIs and knowledge of database architectures - Familiarity with mobile app testing tools like Firebase Test Lab or Appium preferred - Experience with Performance and load testing tools like JMeter or Gatling a plus - Strong problem-solving skills, innovation ability, and multi-tasking proficiency - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong teamwork focus Please Note: KOKO Networks is a venture-backed climate technology company with a mission to deliver technology that improves life in fast-growing markets.
