Job Description We are seeking a Security and Privacy Analyst to join the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team within the Eptura Office of Information Security. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing GRC program , helping to refine, consolidate, and implement security and privacy controls across our SaaS applications globally. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator , trained in risk assessment and audit , with expertise in security frameworks such as ISO 27001, CSA-STAR, AICPA TSC (SOC 2), and FedRAMP . They will also have knowledge of global privacy regulations such as GDPR, UK GDPR, CPRA , and others, and will be comfortable leading cross-functional discussions with internal teams to identify, report, and track compliance risks . This individual will be a key contributor to developing, assessing, and maintaining policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring alignment with Eptura's global security and privacy programs. This is a critical role in our growing security team. Responsibilities Risk Assessments & Audits – Facilitate risk assessments and internal audits to evaluate ongoing compliance with security and privacy frameworks. Compliance Monitoring – Develop ongoing compliance activities to track internal control effectiveness. Policy Development – Assist in creating and maintaining corporate policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines. Risk Management – Work with key stakeholders to identify, document, and track remediation efforts for security and privacy risks. Privacy Compliance – Support privacy compliance efforts, including data flow documentation, privacy impact assessments, and records of processing activities. Customer Security & Privacy Assessments – Conduct security and privacy assessments for existing customers and new prospects. Security Awareness & Best Practices – Advise internal teams on best practices, explaining the “why” behind security and privacy controls. Security Training & Awareness – Assist in the development and administration of the security awareness program, educating teams on security best practices. About You Security Framework Expertise – Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 2, CSA-STAR, FedRAMP, and global privacy regulations like GDPR, CPRA, UK GDPR. Risk Assessment Knowledge – Understanding of common security vulnerabilities and risk assessment methodologies for networks, platforms, and SaaS applications. Cloud Security Awareness – Familiarity with cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, and Azure, as well as the SaaS delivery model. Cross-Functional Collaboration – Ability to work with multiple business units (Engineering, HR, Legal, BI) and manage multiple stakeholders. Communication Skills – Strong written and verbal communication, including experience reporting and presenting to senior leadership. Consulting & Audit Experience (Preferred) – Prior experience in consulting or auditing within security and privacy is a plus. Security Certifications (Preferred) – Industry-recognized certifications such as CRISC, GRCP, CISSP, CISA, CISM are highly desirable. Educational Background (Preferred) – A bachelor’s degree is optional but preferred.
