Oracle is seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master with experience in Scaled Agile (SAFe) Project Management that can work with our product development teams lead them on Agile transformation journey. In this role you will work on a highly collaborative team that values speed and quality, with a strong desire to drive change and foster a positive work environment. Your work will include coaching team members, proactively eliminating barriers, and facilitating team delivery. Perhaps most importantly, you will use your servant leadership capabilities and mindset to help empower, energize and motivate the teams you support. You will work closely with your team and peers to support sprint and release planning, foster team self-awareness, encourage cross-training, decision-making and continuous improvement.Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Technical Background from Premier Institutions
- 6-10 Years of overall Project Management experience managing software development
- 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master / Agile Project Manager
- SAFe Scrum Master / PMI-ACP / Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certifications would be a plus
- Experience using Agile performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement
- Experience in Continuous Development / Continuous Integration Environment would be a plus
- Experience in Oracle Databases / Established Release processes would be a plus
- Proven leadership and motivation skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills a must; can present formally or informally
- Can maintain a high level of energy and engagement
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Drive and Manage our software development processes using Oracle’s Software development methodologies
- Analyze our current processes, prioritize areas of improvement, and work alongside key stakeholders to transform the teams to implement the Agile Practices in the current processes.
- Facilitate/participate in key Agile rituals across Scrum teams
- Coach team members as needed, including resolving conflict
- Communicate project risks
- Manage projects in JIRA and Confluence; providing software training to team members as needed
- Monitor and report on key Agile performance metrics to leadership team
- Assist in training team members and other Oracle employees on Agile and Design Thinking concepts
- Manage various projects at Oracle not directly related to software development
- Above all else, foster and model a collaborative team environment driven to build great software while having fun
