Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Set sales targets for the sales team and ensure they are aligned with overall company objectives.
  • Monitor sales performance, track progress, and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement sales process enhancements to optimize sales efficiency.
  • Coach and mentor the sales team, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their targets.
  • Manage and develop relationships with key accounts to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored logistics solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts, identifying growth opportunities and addressing any concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of customer orders and outstanding service delivery.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets, expand customer base, and increase market share.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Analyze sales data, market insights, and customer feedback to drive informed decision-making.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted sales campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals, setting performance goals and providing ongoing feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Identify training and development needs and provide coaching and mentoring to enhance sales skills and capabilities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Identify customer needs and propose appropriate logistics solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve any issues or challenges in a timely and effective manner.
  • Stay updated on customer industry trends and changes to proactively identify opportunities for business growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales management roles, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the Products services, industry trends, and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal). Additional languages may be advantageous.
  • Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general internet navigation and research skills.
