Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline for elevators, escalators, and modernization projects.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calls, builders, architects, consultants, and channel partners.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with builders, developers, architects, PMC firms, and facility managers.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
  • Manage post-quotation follow-ups and negotiations to secure orders.
  • Provide high-quality customer service and handle client concerns proactively.

3. Technical & Commercial Proposals

  • Prepare accurate technical solutions and product selections based on site conditions.
  • Prepare and deliver price quotations, BOQs, and commercial offers.
  • Explain product features, specifications, benefits, and compliance standards.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams for customization or non-standard requirements.

4. Site Surveys & Coordination

  • Perform site assessments to evaluate shaft measurements, machine room requirements, and feasibility.
  • Coordinate with design, installation, and project execution teams for smooth handover after order booking.
  • Ensure correct product configuration as per project needs.

5. Market Intelligence

  • Track competitor offerings, pricing, and ongoing projects in the region.
  • Analyze market trends and demand patterns to support strategic planning.
  • Provide regular feedback to management on opportunities and challenges.

6. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of inquiries, quotations, sales funnels, and customer interactions.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and forecast updates.
  • Use CRM tools for tracking leads and opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Business Management preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of sales experience in elevators, building materials, MEP, or industrial equipment.
  • Strong technical understanding of elevator systems, configurations, and standards.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and site conditions.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, or related field (preferred).

Salary: ₹20000 - ₹40000 + Incentives

Experience: 3+ years

Location: Banglore , Chennai & Mumbai

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
