Senior Sales Engineer – APJC

Location: India, Delhi (Remote/Field-Based)

Position Summary

We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our growing team in the APJC region. In this customer-facing role, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor, supporting the sales process by delivering compelling product demonstrations, leading proof-of-value engagements, and helping customers architect cybersecurity solutions based on ColorTokens’ Zero Trust platform. You will work closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to align customer needs with ColorTokens’ capabilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives to support pre-sales activities across enterprise accounts in APJC.
  • Deliver high-impact product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospects and partners.
  • Lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Proof of Value (PoV) engagements to validate ColorTokens’ solutions in customer environments.
  • Understand customer business and technical requirements and map them to ColorTokens’ Zero Trust and microsegmentation capabilities.
  • Build strong relationships with technical decision-makers and influencers to drive solution adoption.
  • Respond to technical RFPs and RFIs, and provide architecture recommendations and sizing guidance.
  • Collaborate with product management to share customer feedback and influence roadmap development.
  • Stay current on industry trends, security frameworks, and competitive technologies to act as a subject matter expert.
  • Maintain detailed records of opportunities and technical engagements in CRM and sales tools.


Qualifications

15+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, or solution architecture, ideally in cybersecurity or enterprise IT.

Deep technical knowledge in one or more of the following:

  • Zero Trust Security and Microsegmentation
  • Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Container and Kubernetes security
  • Endpoint and network security (Windows/Linux)
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threat models, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead technical evaluations and close complex deals in collaboration with sales.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with minimal supervision.


Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related field.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security Specialist are a plus.
  • Experience working with customers across multiple EMEA countries and cultures.
