Senior Research And Development Engineer

As a Senior Engineer – R&D, you will play a pivotal role in new product development, process optimization, cost efficiency, and sustainability initiatives. This position requires a blend of creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on execution to drive innovation and deliver solutions aligned with market needs and organizational goals.

Responsibilities:-

New Product Development

·      Develop new product concepts and convert approved ideas into production-ready prototypes.

·      Enhance existing product categories with design and functional improvements.

Cost Optimization & Process Efficiency

·      Research and validate alternate raw materials for cost savings.

·      Improve manufacturing processes, systems, and equipment efficiency.

·      Expand vendor networks for better pricing and reliability.

Quality Enhancement

·      Drive material and design modifications to improve product quality.

·      Reduce rejection and wastage during production.

·      Collaborate with vendors to ensure consistency in raw materials.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

·      Partner with universities, labs, and industry experts to foster innovation.

·      Conduct internal sessions to share insights and best practices.

Sustainability Integration

·      Research eco-friendly materials for product development.

·      Implement sustainable practices into production processes.

Certification & Compliance

·      Identify relevant certifications for products and processes.

·      Plan and execute certification roadmaps to meet compliance and market standards.

Reporting & Documentation

·      Prepare and maintain project reports, timelines, and technical documentation.

·      Ensure timely submission of performance reports.

Qualifications:-

·      B.Tech/M.Tech in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.

·      Specialization/experience in concrete technology or construction materials preferred.

Experience

·      2–4 years in R&D/product development (preferably in concrete/construction materials).

Skills & Competencies

·      Strong technical knowledge of concrete and composites.

·      Creative mindset with a passion for product innovation.

·      Knowledge of cost analysis, quality systems, and certification standards.

·      Excellent reporting, documentation, and presentation skills.

·      Ability to collaborate cross-functionally (production, installation, sales, marketing, vendors).
