Senior Research And Development Engineer

As a Senior Engineer in Research & Development at Beyond Renewables & Recycling Pvt Ltd, based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, you will play a crucial role in leading breakthrough high-value thermo-chemical recycling processes for solar PV waste. Your primary responsibilities will involve managing research & development activities and driving the scale-up to 10 t/day industrial capacity while achieving high silicon purity and silver recovery rates through process optimizations. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development and optimization of Beyond's recycling process - Oversee silver extraction and silicon purification processes - Enhance plant & machinery to improve cycle times, recovery & purity rates In your role, you will also be required to: - Supervise analytical validation using TGA, FTIR, SEM, MP-AES, and EDAX techniques - Implement quality control measures to ensure consistent material recovery and purity specifications - Establish SOPs for all thermochemical processes Qualifications Required: - Education: M.Tech/M.S. in Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering, or Materials Science (PhD preferred) - 2-5+ years of experience in hydrometallurgical processes such as acid leaching, metal extraction, and solvent separation - Proficiency in advanced analytical chemistry techniques like XRD, SEM-EDAX, FTIR, TGA, and ICP-MS - Experience in chemical process optimization, statistical experimental design, and process economics - Knowledge of environmental compliance including effluent treatment, emission control, and chemical handling safety Preferred Qualifications: - Solar/semiconductor industry materials processing experience - Background in precious metal recovery (silver, copper) - Knowledge of e-waste recycling or plant operations If you join Beyond Renewables, you will have the opportunity to: - Contribute to technology innovation by building an IP portfolio in breakthrough thermochemical processes - Experience career growth with a potential path to the CTO role in a rapidly scaling cleantech startup - Make a significant impact by addressing India's projected solar waste and supporting Atmanirbhar Bharat In addition to a competitive salary, you will also be eligible for equity-based compensation through ESOPs.
