Position: Sr. Relationship Manager

Location: Kolkata

Preferred industry: Financial industry - Asset Management company - AIF - PMS - Broking - Mutual fund

Role Summary:

Relationship Manager – Distribution Sales

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive distribution-led sales across PMS and AIF products within the assigned territory.
• Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with IFAs, wealth advisory firms, family offices, and UHNIs.
• Conduct regular client interactions—both virtual and in-person—for product presentations, investment reviews, and business discussions.
• Identify, onboard, and nurture channel partners to broaden business reach and improve market penetration.
• Analyze sales data and implement actionable strategies to achieve business objectives and increase AUM.
• Maintain proactive communication and consistent engagement with key partners to ensure loyalty and sustained growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams including product, compliance, and operations for seamless onboarding and client servicing.
• Track evolving market dynamics, competitive activity, and regulatory updates to support informed business planning.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience:

  5+ years of relevant experience in financial product distribution or investment sales.

• Regional Exposure:

  Strong relationships with IFAs, wealth partners, and distributors in the Eastern market, especially Kolkata.

• Domain Expertise:

  Prior experience in PMS and AIF sales preferred; candidates from AMCs with senior distribution experience will also be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to lead business growth and achieve sales targets.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Analytical approach with a strong focus on identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities.
