Position: Senior Quality Manager Location: Bhiwadi (Rajasthan) No. of Vacancy: 1 Education Qualification: B.E./B.Tech Mechanical only Experience: Min. 10-15 Years relevant. Notice Period: Max 30 days official NP only. Qualification  Degree with emphasis on Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent.  Working knowledge within quality controls of manufacturing environment.  Understanding, implementing and improvement in layered quality control processes.  Implementation of Quality Management System (QMS).  Continuous Improvement Techniques including Kaizen, Lean.  Must have experience in Heavy Engineering Industry or OEM more than 8 years. Key Responsibilities: This is a critical role where you will be required to ensure the integrity of the quality system. Requirements of working closely across the operations, service, production, purchase stores etc. The responsibilities as Senior Quality Manager are to provide support for the QMS and enhance the quality of the equipment manufactured. Critical to this role will be the understanding as well as your ability to document analysis of quality problems, root causes and implemented corrective actions that describe best practice by means of using.  Manufacturing methods and problem-solving tools.  Should have handled the team which would have carried out. Approving incoming material from vendors on quality of components. Interacting with vendors/customers for improvement in quality. Maintain quality inspection records from vendors / customers. Establishing quality standards; implementing QC systems to enhance quality of products. Conducting tests & inspections, ensuring operational effectiveness of equipment. Identifying deviations, areas of non-conformance & undertake relevant modifications. Coordinating with R & D for new developments and manage quality related data. Perform Supplier Quality analysis & Process Audit of supplier’s work. Interact routinely with Purchasing, Engineering & Suppliers to proactively improve quality of parts. Ensure compliance of quality system processes - Both of material supplied by suppliers & within the department. Auditing of suppliers and implementation of inspection plan for incoming parts. Continual involvement in improving product quality, reliability & reducing part cost. Implement and maintain quality management systems to measure and control quality in the production process. Assist with quality standards for individual products and set out the standards in documents and processes for the production team. Complete performance measurements and reporting requirements that set quality metrics for each stage of the production process. Create documentation, such as quality manuals and procedures, and establish requirements for records management, document control and control of electronic data from inspection processes. Work with operations to raise awareness of the importance of quality and train them in quality procedures. Analyse quality problems to identify root causes and implement in corrective action. Take proactive measures, such as developing and implementing continuous improvement programs covering production processes and quality management systems - eliminating the causes of quality issues and reduce the risk of failure. Cost analysis and defect drive down – addressing non-conformance issues with production team. Responsible for reporting MIS (Management information system) with Quality aspects. To lead the adherence of Plant Quality management system & SOP at each node of process in plant. To develop SOPs, work instructions and formats for defining quality parameters.
