Kelkar Auto Parts Pvt. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of precision automotive components, is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Manager to lead and oversee quality systems, ensure product compliance, and drive continuous improvement across production processes. Key Responsibilities Lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) functions for the organization. Develop, implement, and monitor quality management systems (QMS) in compliance with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 standards. Ensure adherence to customer quality requirements and regulatory standards. Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for product and process non-conformances. Lead APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA activities for new and ongoing projects. Conduct internal and supplier audits to maintain consistent quality performance. Liaise with customers on quality concerns, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Guide and mentor the QA/QC team to achieve organizational quality goals. Collaborate with production, design, and procurement teams to enhance product quality and process reliability. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or related field. 10+ years of experience in quality management within the automotive components manufacturing sector . Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, and Problem-Solving Techniques . Hands-on experience with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 , and customer audits. Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation tools. Preferred Skills Exposure to TS16949 audit preparation and supplier quality management . Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies . Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvement initiatives. Compensation: Competitive salary package based on experience and industry standards.
